Suggested Packing List
The staff of Airsoftderrs have played a lot of airsoft (including four Megawars) over the past few years. Here are some recommendations from our experience.
- DON'T FORGET your waiver and field registration form!
- Primary weapon and backup weapon. (We suggest AEG's with 350-420 fps)
- Secondary weapon (gas pistol, AEP, etc.)
- Chargers & extra batteries for guns, lashlights, cameras, 2-way radios etc.
- BBs. Biodegradable or Earth Tone ONLY (earth tones--black, brown, dark green, dark grey. Exceptions: Players using bolt action rifles with .30g or higher weight BBS and players who wish to use glow in the dark tracer bbs Friday night. We recommend 5000-10,000 rounds per person. BB's will be available for sale but are first come first serve.
- Nerf weapons (swords, maces, and foam rocket firing weapons...don't bring "normal" nerf guns--they're useless)
- Food and Water - a simple breakfast will be available Saturday morning ($5/person suggested donation. Be sure to check the option on the sign-up form if you are interested). You are responsible for the rest of your food and drinks.
- Camping supplies for Friday night - tents, sleeping bags, mosquito netting, pillows, lanterns etc.
- Bug spray
- Flashlight
- Two-Way radios (and extra batteries)
- Back-Pack/Field-Pack for anything you may need in game (extra bbs, water, tools, tape, first aid, etc)
- Gloves
- Extra shoes/boots and a change or two of clothing (there is a creek on the property, so you are bound to at least get wet feet at some point)
- Knee pads
- Eye and face protection
- Hand sanitizer
- First-aid kit
